Lab Members - Eric Pang

Background

Eric Pang graduated from U.C. Berkeley in 2005 with double degree in Biochemistry Molecular Biology and Legal Studies. During his undergraduate years, he worked under Prof. McCormick's supervision in studying cell signaling pathways in pollen germination. Here at UCLA, he is working under Prof. David Teplow in neuroscience department and Prof. Joseph Loo.

Eric

Professor Teplow and Professor Bitan in UCLA neuroscience department have optimized a photo-induced crosslinking method (PICUP) to induce the formation of Aβ oligomers. By combining PICUP technique with mass spectrometry, the structure of Aβ oligomers and its aggregation process can hopefully be solved.
