Lab Members - Yanan Yang

Dr. Yanan Yang came to UCLA as a postdoctoral fellow in 2003. She completed her Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Chicago with Professor Richard B. van Breemen. At UIC, Yanan developed LC-MS methods for detecting new antioxidant compounds in food products. At UCLA, Yanan worked on a number of projects, including our Department of Energy sponsored project on the characterization of a unique class of living organisms that produce methane.
